Details below: The Four Immeasurables: A Meditation & Journaling Workshop Series Metta: Loving Kindness Karuna: Compassion Mudita: Sympathetic Joy Upekkha: Equanimity Four Sundays. Each week we immerse ourselves in learning about a Brahmavihara / pure emotion. Sessions will include philosophy, reflections and interactive exercises. We top it all off on a fifth Sunday, Feb. 7th by spending half a day in silence. Price: CAD/USD 100 (4 workshops) or CAD/USD 120 (4 workshops + silent retreat). Silent Retreat priced at CAD/USD 60. About me: I am a social worker and mindfulness coach with over 15 years of work experience in the non-profit sector across India, USA and Canada. I have coped with anxiety, depression, PTSD (which had a strong expression of rage) using a combination of therapy and mindfulness techniques. My personal practice is a combination of Vipassana meditation, journalling and movement. I love a hot bowl of ramen and collecting vinyl.
